Arsht for Miami Journey to Día de Muertos

Through folk songs, classical music and dance, Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s Día de los Muertos tells a love story that spans the boundary between the living and the dead. A loving couple, Lupita and Raul, fall victim to treachery and are separated, seemingly forever. Lupita then enters Mictlán, the underworld of Aztec mythology, where the mesmerizing Catrina reigns as queen.

Join us for this educational journey for all ages and learn about the history and traditions of Día de Muertos.

Select Arsht Impact performances are offered as Pay What You Can. Free tickets are available, and guests are invited to give to help sustain live arts experiences in Miami. Guests who pay the listed minimum receive priority seating.

As a nonprofit organization, the Adrienne Arsht Center invests every dollar directly into Arsht Impact education and community outreach programs that annually serve more than 100,000 people of all ages.

Please note: Tickets must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age. There is a limit of six tickets per household. Admission is first come, first served. Priority entry expires 15 minutes prior to the performance.
